The Master's Program in Sustainability in Health aims to train professionals for the role of a future Health Sustainability Manager, or any type of expert in sustainability in health processes. The objective of the program is to provide theoretical and practical training for the improvement of processes and behaviors in institutions/companies/public entities.
The Master’s program is designed with a constant and growing focus on the environment, and prepares leaders who currently represent the missing link in the healthcare system and industries connected to health processes.
The skills you will gain in the program will provide theoretical and practical training capable of carrying out the following as a Health Sustainability Manager:
- Mastery of the sustainability issues and operational strategies as it applies to health care processes.
- Connecting the intersection between climate change and environmental justice that impacts the health of communities.
- Deeper understanding of aspects related to production and consumption of sustainable products (energy, water, raw materials, to name a few) to promote human and planetary health.
- Management of aspects related to health, well-being and safety of workers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental health management and policies around sustainability.
- Communicate and implement (internal and external) sustainability policies.
